What Darren didn't mention ...

Darren didn't mention in his last post is that as we pack, we are doing all of the spring cleaning that we haven't done in the last 5 years. I always knew I was a bit of a pack rat, but what was I thinking keeping ... you name it. The amount of old clothing and unused household goods going to charity exceeds the amount of items packed so far. I'm sure we'll still end up taking things that we should have thrown out, but at least we are trying to downsize. For anyone who thinks they can never throw out their old university notes and text books, I recommend that you plan a long distance move (which is priced by weight) that is not subsidized.
